This tour features the most visited cultural spots in Belgrade. We will visit the city center, Republic Square, National Parliament, City Hall, Prince Milos Street. In this street you will see remains from the Belgrade bombing at the end of 20th century, as well as many government buildings. We will also visit the Museum of Yugoslav History which is the final resting place of the former president of Yugoslavia, Josip Broz Tito. He was a very famous and popular leader during his presidency. In this area you will see many beautiful houses of Belgrade’s more affluent citizens. Passing next to the Partisan football stadium and reach the Temple of Saint Sava, the biggest Orthodox Church in the Balkans. Today, the church is one of the most important Belgrade symbols. Just next to the church is located a very interesting local café where we can take an optional break. At the end of the tour we will visit the beautiful Kalemegdan park and Belgrade fortress. This area was inhabitated by Romans. Enjoy a beautiful view of the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, while learning about Serbia’s history and culture.
